Who and What Do We Need?

Our Focus for 2019-20

Our focus will be on launching and supporting programs in schools and extra curricular programs around the community. This will involve work in East Lake Academy (middle school), Howard Connect Academy (middle school, The Howard School (high school), and the one PBL with the STEM School (high school). Beyond the school realm, we will be supporting ongoing programs out the RVRB production space.

Major Projects:

Howard Connect Academy/Howard high school Production space

  • Teacher on staff between Howard Connect and Howard High (assuming we get enough funding to cover a teacher salary+benefits)

  • Design of the Production Space (complete)

  • Fundraising Support (complete - $97k)

  • Integration (July 2019)

  • Curriculum Development (ongoing)

  • Career Pipeline (September 2019 at the earliest)

East Lake Academy production space

THE DYNAMO STUDIOS HUB

The Dynamo Studios Hub is the heart for all things Dynamo. From here, we will put Chattanooga on the map as a destination to create as well as establishing Chattanooga as a leader in innovative arts based education through community/industry partnership. The Dynamo Studios Hub will consist of two recording studios, a writers room, office space, gear lockers, lounge, potentially rentable living spaces, and a classroom.

A Hub for Creating (Recording studio and Music industry partnerships)

A Hub for Learning (Post secondary certifications and university partnerships)

From here we will start a post secondary program that will operate on a certification model as opposed to a degree model. Our goal will be to work with students for 2 years and then provide them with a certification from our programs. Additionally, we will work with local universities allowing for some of their classes to be hosted out of our spaces. These university partnerships and our post secondary program will play a key roll in our supporting our revenue preforma so that Dynamo Studios is sustainable as an organization for years to come.
