OVERVIEW

The Creative Economy Internship (CEI) is reserved for our most advanced students. This is a legitimate internship for students looking to take the next steps in advancing their careers.

The best part? The program is 100% FREE!! Our only request is that participating students commit to the full duration of the cohort.

  • (It’s summer break, and we understand that many of you will have time off for vacations or other work.)

With the CEI, students will work on professional projects throughout the duration of the summer. Some days will be in the field working with agencies and labels. Other days will be on-site working with our team.

WHO IS THE IDEAL STUDENT FOR THIS PROGRAM?

The ideal student will be someone who has put in a lot of time ahead of joining CEI. Someone who is a visionary self-starter who is ready to take the next steps in their career with a legitimate internship.

THIS IS NOT FOR SOMEONE JUST STARTING OUT. If you are new, we have loads of programs to get you ready for the CEI internship!

Content/Media students:

You will be working on a mix of commercial work with our agency partenrs, content for touring artists, and conent for Dynamo Studios.

Content/Media Partners:

  • SuperChief

  • Humanaut

  • Toldwell

  • Socially U

What could a day for a MEDIA student look like?

  • Working with SuperChief to shoot conent for CFC with the MLS Network.

  • Helping support Humanaut on a major commerical shoot.

  • Shooting photos for a touring artist at The Signal

  • ETC.

Music industry students:

You will be working on producing music for various labels and producers along with creating sync music for commercial work.

Music Industry Partner:

  • Sony Music

  • Beatstars

  • Oomp Records/Top Quality Publishing

What could a day for a MUSIC student look like?

  • Working with a label or producer partner to create music for artists they send our way.

  • Helping Dran knock out sessions for artists that come through Deadbird Studios.

  • ETC.

WHEN

IN-PERSON Every Tuesday and Thursday

  • 9:00AM-5:00PM

  • Kick-off is June 17, 2025

If you would like to do more, we will have our facilities open and available Monday-Thursday each week.

Off-site field experiences will vary each week and will typically be outside of the Tuesday/Thursday schedule. You will coordinate directly with our industry partners on scheduling.
